Job description

The First Line IT Support Technician will be the first point of contact for all IT-related issues across the business. Working closely with the IT team, the role involves providing day-to-day technical support to users across multiple branches, ensuring systems remain operational and issues are resolved efficiently., * Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, and in person

  • Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues
  • Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Install, configure, and set up new PCs and user accounts
  • Support printer setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting across sites
  • Assist with telephone system issues and basic configuration tasks
  • Log, track, and update support tickets in the IT service system
  • Escalate more complex issues to second line or IT management where appropriate
  • Assist with onboarding new users, including device setup and access provisioning
  • Maintain clear and accurate IT documentation

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in IT support?, Do you have a GCSE?, This is a hands-on support role requiring strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a customer-focused approach., * Demonstrate strong communication skills at all levels of the business

Requirements

  • Good understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
  • Basic IT knowledge and troubleshooting skills
  • Full UK driving licence (occasional travel between branches may be required)
  • GSCE in Mathematics and English
