Network Consultant - CCNP, NSE7, Cisco, Fortinet, LAN, WAN, SD-Wan - £70,000 - £80,000 - London / Southampton

Looking for a Network Consultant to join and leading Solutions Provider. Your role will be split across Professional Services and their own Core Network. You will design, plan and implement exceptional solutions to clients, and also ensure that the network runs well internally to keep the business moving forward. You will on occasion be asked to support the service desk with final escalations.

You will be responsible for both core network management(50%) and customer delivery (50%), ensuring reliable and secure connectivity across the multi-tenant environment., Professional Services

• Plan, Design and implement LAN, Wireless and Security Solutions for external PS Clients.
• Deliver Fortinet-based solutions (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) and Cisco routing & Cisco Meraki solutions for new and existing customers.
• Configure and deploy customer firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and network segmentation designs.

Core Network

• Manage and maintain the core network infrastructure
• Administer and optimise BGP, OSPF, and MPLS routing environments.
• Manage core firewalls, routers, and switches across data centre and edge environments.
• Develop automation scripts and tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, REST APIs) to streamline provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.

• Proven experience in professional services environment
• Exceptional Client facing skills
• Low Level Design and Implementation of complex network solutions.
• Ability to manage and maintain and internal network
• LAN / WAN / SD-Wan / Wireless experience.
• CCNP or higher
• Fortinet - NSE7 ideally
• Previous experience delivering Fortinet-based solutions
• BGP, OSPF, VXLAN and MPLS routing environments.
