Job description

  • Develop and maintain Android and iOS applications, ensuring compatibility across various devices and SDKs.
  • Write high-quality, efficient code primarily in Java, Android SDK, Swift, and related development tools.
  • Conduct performance analysis, capacity management, and troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand complex architectures and deliver solutions.
  • Implement security best practices and design principles for mobile applications.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, cloud messaging, push notifications, and biometrics login features.
  • Use version control tools such as Git to manage codebases.
  • Stay current with technological advancements and continually seek improvements in development processes.
  • Handle multiple system intents, including alarms, calendars, gyroscopes, and accelerometers.
  • Publish applications to the Google Play and Apple App stores.

Requirements

The role demands hands-on coding and collaboration across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment., * Expertise with Java, Android SDK, and building customer-facing enterprise Android applications.

  • Expertise with Swift and building customer-facing enterprise iOS applications.
  • Mastery of Apple's development tools and environments, including handling different screen sizes, SDKs, storage, threading, performance tuning, and app publishing.
  • Mastery of Android development tools and environments, including handling different screen sizes, SDKs, storage, threading, performance tuning, and app publishing.
  • Experience with various system intents such as alarms, calendars, gyroscopes, and accelerometers.
  • Strong knowledge of Android/iOS design principles, patterns, and best practices, including security.
  • Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and libraries for common tasks.
  • Experience with biometrics login.
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
  • Experience implementing third-party APIs and using tools like Postman, SoapUI, and Fiddler.
  • Working knowledge of Git or similar version-control software.

Required Education

Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Kotlin.
  • Utility industry experience.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps setup for CI build and publishing Android and iOS apps to their respective app stores.
