Job description

NTT DATA currently seeks a Systems Architect to join our team in assisting one of our valued clients. Remote position 6 month temporary role with expectations of long term Summary Candidates need to be comfortable working in a highly matrixed environment and self-driving on deliverables. There is tremendous opportunity for self-starters to influence the templates and deliverables that will drive value for Ascension Technologies business customers. ESAs are exposed to the most important and complex initiatives at Ascension. As such, the ability to conduct executive level conversations and presentations is required.

Accountabilities:

  • Problem solving abilities spanning COTS systems, cloud infrastructure, data and AI

  • Identify pain points and modernization opportunities

  • Creates detailed Points of View (POV), employing a domain centric collaborative approach, providing architectural perspective and technology pattern recommendations for various Enterprise Architecture initiatives and other significant bodies of work as needed.

  • Compares and contrasts different enterprise level architecture configurations and patterns based on business value, operational resilience and cost considerations.

  • Supports the creation of strategic roadmaps that sequence technology initiatives based on business priorities and technical dependencies, aligning to the overall enterprise strategy.

  • Provides Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for Architecture Review Board (ARB)Governance and Standards including serving as an AT representative on organization AI governance bodies and forums.

  • Possesses strong architecture modeling skills, experienced in leveraging Enterprise Architecture (EA) data models. Demonstrated ability to develop various diagrams and visuals leveraging data sets within the EA data model.

  • Applies critical thinking for the development of nuanced architecture views to meet specific needs given complexities of the existing technology ecosystem, providing actionable insights.

  • Applies strong expertise in multiple areas of architecture, including: Business Architecture, Information & Data Architecture, Application Architecture, Technology Architecture, Security Architecture

  • Responsible for architecting solutions crossing multiple domains or business areas.

  • Accountable for an understanding of enterprise's architecture, ie. MDM products, Integration Engines and ESL, microservices, key platform capabilities, hyperscaler/cloud capabilities

  • Works closely with partners inside and outside IT and across business communities in understanding and assessing technology requirements, identifying potential technology solutions, always assessing existing technology investments as a first step.

  • Participates in cross-functional teams for developing and implementing new architectural patterns and standards. Works in conjunction with Enterprise Applications & Platforms, Data Delivery & Governance, Security, Legal, Compliance, Infrastructure, Product Engineering and other areas as necessary. Requirements

Do you have experience in Presentations for conferences or internal meetings?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Exceptional communicator and presenter with excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to lead and influence cross functional teams to deliver and meet organizational needs in compressed timeframes.

  • Ability to quickly evaluate options, unlock enterprise challenges, make technology recommendations, and recommend solutions within a diverse technology environment with multiple stakeholders inside customers' environments.

  • Familiarity with working in an agile-based environment

  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and gray spaces.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, prioritization and relationship management skills

  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, conflict management and decision making skills

  • Ability to manage multiple work commitments, producing high quality work products under pressure and within deadlines Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of 5 years of architecture experience

  • Must have experience at a large technology products and services organization.

  • Minimum 5 years experience in an information technology discipline with increasing responsibility.

  • Familiarity with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and architecture modeling tools (e.g. Abacus, IBIS, Orbus iServer, MEGA, LeanIX, etc. Preferred Skills: Master's degree Experience working in a large global IT environment Healthcare IT experience , ideally encompassing a broad range of business areas, care delivery settings, including related processes, integration and solution exposure. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered.
