Senior Middleware Engineer

• Build, Install, Deploy, Configure and manage Infrastructure systems based of Java related web applications running on IBM WebSphere Liberty and reporting tools like IBM Cognos BI, Tableau and Motio servers in Linux platforms.
• Automate application deployments with Jenkins CI/CD.
• Migrate WebSphere based java applications to the WebSphere Liberty and Cognos related contents to a newer C12 versions.
• Perform WebSphere and Cognos deployments in all environments following Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Support application upgrades and perform security vulnerability remediation's whenever an information vulnerability or any application issue is reported.
• Perform user security management in WebSphere and Cognos administration tools.
• Perform problem analysis and implementation of resolution for the architecture, WebSphere application servers and MQ migrations.
• Perform problem analysis and implementation of resolution for Cognos Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Metric Studio and Cognos Transformer.
• Perform SSL Certificate management for all the web applications running on WebSphere/Cognos/Tableau/Jenkins/AbInitio layers.
• On-call 24/7 support for any issues, user report executions, application issues, failover incidents and log reviews.
• Secure web access and single sign on (SSO) for vendor provided web applications integrated with CCTI infrastructure.
• Work with vendor and internal teams and provide 24/7 support and occasional weekend coverages for the release and infrastructure upgrade activities.

Do you have experience in WebSphere?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Senior Middleware Engineer with Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned subjects., * 8+ years of experience in IBM Middleware Engineering, Configuration and Administration.

• 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting IBM Middleware Infrastructure and involved Release Management configurations and processes.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing WebSphere Suite (Application Servers, Liberty, MQ) products and reporting tools (Cognos BI, Tableau) running in Unix/Linux environment.
• Experience in Cloud Migration, automation of admin tasks using Ansible and other third-party integration scenarios.
• Strong understanding of Java web applications, DB2 database integrations, data source configurations, Network/Firewall requests, Monitoring and health checks of applications running on Dev/QA/Plan test/Production/DR environments.
• Experience in scripting to minimize day-to-day manual efforts and expertise in scripting languages like Python/YAML.
