Job description

As a Senior Integration Developer, you will work with our growingDevSecOpspractice developing APIs and integration capabilities to connect data, services, and systems to helpour customers achieve their mission. We are looking forcandidates withexperience with cloud platform services,understandingbusiness requirements andimplementcomplex integrations.

Contributions

Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers

  • Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results

  • Ensurethat systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats

  • Identifytechnical problems,performroot cause analysis, anddevelopsoftware updates and 'fixes'

  • Develop APIs, micro-servicesand integrations using a broad range of software programming tasks to ensure that their systems integrations are functional.

  • Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support andfacilitateAPI and integration projects.

  • Advise technical teams on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and other operational concerns of integration solutions onAnypointPlatform.

  • Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into integration interfaces and implementations

  • Create andprovidetechnical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individuals

  • Document as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations

  • Act as an individual contributor and mentor more junior team members

  • Engineer and implement solutions andproviderecommendations for continuous improvement for the servicesprovided

  • Present regular status updates andprovidecross training to other team members.

Requirements

Required:

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance

  • BSDegreein an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and2yearsrelated IT experience

  • 5Years ofExperience with one or more clouds (i.e.AWS, Azure, or GCP)

  • 5Years ofExperience withGitSCMproviders such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket

  • 5Years ofExperiencewithone or more programming or scripting languages

  • 5 Years if Experience with one or more integrations technologies - specifically, with Java integrations libraries such as Apache Camel, Spring Boot, and JDBC

  • Experience developing API Management solutions and micro-services, + Experience implementing docker containersandutilizingplatforms such as Kubernetes

  • Experiencedesigning,implementing, and documentingAPIs

  • ExperienceutilizingCI/CD pipelines with tools such asJenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Pipelines,CircleCI,TravisCI

  • Experience implementing Automated Testing frameworksto test APIs and integrations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills

Benefits & conditions

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $170,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
