Internet/Web Architect

The Internet/Web Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing enterprise web application solutions across large-scale environments. This role provides technical leadership across architecture, development, and project delivery, ensuring alignment with established standards, scalability requirements, and business objectives. The position works closely with stakeholders, development teams, and leadership to deliver secure, high-performance web and data solutions. Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Web Development

• Design and develop enterprise web applications using ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related technologies
• Lead the migration of legacy ASP.NET Web Forms applications to MVC architecture
• Define and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable web architectures
• Develop and optimize database interactions including stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning

Database & Data Integration

• Design and manage database solutions using Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
• Develop stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers
• Support batch processing, data loading, and integration workflows
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions using SSRS and SSIS

Requirements & Technical Documentation

• Gather and document business and technical requirements
• Produce technical specifications, design documentation, and traceability matrices
• Ensure documentation aligns with project standards and governance requirements

Testing, Validation & Quality Assurance

• Support testing of applications, reports, dashboards, and large data sets
• Document testing strategies, verification processes, and results
• Ensure solutions meet functional, performance, and quality standards

Project Planning & Delivery Oversight

• Develop project plans and track progress against defined timelines and milestones
• Provide regular status updates, including weekly and monthly reporting to leadership
• Manage project risks, change control processes, and scope adjustments
• Ensure alignment with project budgets, schedules, and deliverables

Standards, Governance & Collaboration

• Ensure adherence to technical standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines
• Collaborate with development teams on large enterprise initiatives
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, sponsors, and cross-functional teams

Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Senior Level (8 or more years of relevant experience), * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

• 8 or more years of experience with Oracle databases including performance tuning and advanced database development
• 8 or more years of experience developing ASP.NET applications and converting Web Forms to MVC
• Strong experience with C#, .NET, MVC, ASP.NET, and object-oriented programming concepts
• Experience with JavaScript, front-end frameworks, and responsive design (Bootstrap)
• Familiarity with .NET Core application development
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server including stored procedures and database design
• Experience with SSRS (2017 or later) and SSIS
• Experience with batch processing and data loading
• Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements
• Experience testing complex applications, reports, and large datasets
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing applications on Microsoft Azure
• Experience working on large enterprise or public-sector projects
• Experience supporting full lifecycle application architecture and modernization efforts
