We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Designer & Developer with exceptional creative range and deep technical expertise in WordPress.
This is not a junior position. We are looking for a mid- to senior-level professional who hits the ground running. We will gladly teach you the nuances of the medical aesthetic industry, but you must already possess absolute mastery of your design and development tools. You will thrive in our fast-paced environment, seamlessly multitasking to take complex, custom projects from initial concept through launch.
Joining our collaborative team, you will work directly with clients to define the aesthetics and functionality of their sites and build accessible, engaging, and highly valuable digital products.
WHAT YOU WILL DO (Responsibilities)
Design & Visual Storytelling
- Create Narrative Experiences: Build brand-driven user journeys across all media channels.
- Build Collateral: Design impactful landing pages, graphics, and branded marketing assets.
- Design with Precision: Craft high-quality websites and UI components using Figma and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
- Produce Multimedia: Create compelling short-form videos, reels, motion elements, and visual stories to deeply engage users.
Development & Technical Execution
- Code from Scratch: Build custom WordPress themes using modern coding standards (HTML5, SCSS/Sass, JavaScript, PHP).
- Leverage Modern Tech: Actively utilize AI-assisted tools to increase productivity in both design and development workflows.
- Optimize & Perform: Ensure blazing-fast website performance, clean content structure, and perfectly optimized media.
- Ensure Compliance: Guarantee all websites meet strict WCAG accessibility standards.
Strategy & Collaboration
- Analyze & Improve: Conduct UX/UI audits to continually improve site usability and drive conversions.
- Manage & Deliver: Juggle multiple client accounts, adapt to shifting priorities, and consistently meet project deadlines.
- Maintain Systems: Uphold and evolve design systems and reusable UI component libraries.
Requirements
Do you have experience in WordPress?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in a digital agency, fast-paced web design studio, or similar environment handling end-to-end projects.
- Soft Skills: Excellent client-facing communication, razor-sharp problem-solving abilities, and the organizational skills needed to multitask flawlessly.
- Portfolio: A standout portfolio showcasing both high-end design and custom development samples is required.
- Design Mastery: Expert-level grasp of responsive design, visual storytelling, and UX/UI best practices.
- Code Mastery: Advanced proficiency in HTML5, SCSS/Sass, JavaScript, PHP, and custom WordPress theme development., * Experience producing and editing short videos, motion graphics, or reels.
- Familiarity with Shopify, WooCommerce, and Squarespace.
- Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related field., Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
