Join our growing team as a Customer Service & Sales Associate at our firearms retail store. We are looking for a dependable, knowledgeable, and customer-focused individual who is passionate about the outdoors, firearms, and providing exceptional service. In this role, you will assist customers with product selection, answer questions about firearms and accessories, process transactions, and help maintain a safe, welcoming, and professional environment., * Provide outstanding customer service in-store, over the phone, and through email communications.
- Assist customers with firearms, ammunition, optics, accessories, and related products while ensuring safe handling procedures are followed.
- Educate customers on available products, features, pricing, promotions, and store services.
- Process sales transactions accurately, including cash, credit card, and financing options.
- Complete required paperwork and follow all federal, state, and local firearm regulations and store policies.
- Maintain accurate customer records and inventory data using POS and computer systems.
- Answer customer questions regarding product availability, transfers, orders, and special requests.
- Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining store cleanliness.
- Conduct follow-up calls and outreach regarding orders, promotions, and customer satisfaction.
- Support daily store operations while contributing to a positive team environment.
- Promote firearm safety and responsible ownership at all times.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Typing?, The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, retail or customer service experience, and a willingness to learn about firearms, accessories, and industry regulations. Firearm knowledge is preferred but not required for the right candidate with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn., * Previous retail, customer service, sales, or firearms industry experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of firearms, ammunition, hunting gear, or tactical equipment is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with professional phone etiquette.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office, POS systems, and data entry.
- Ability to learn and comply with ATF regulations and company policies.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused attitude.
- Must be able to pass any applicable background checks required by law.
