- Support the deployment and configuration of operating systems such as Windows and Linux across various environments.
- Assist in maintaining IT infrastructure including servers, networks, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers to ensure system reliability and security.
- Contribute to system design and architecture planning by understanding service-oriented architecture (SOA) and solution architecture principles.
- Help implement and monitor cloud security measures within platforms like AWS and Azure, ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Participate in system hardening, vulnerability assessments, and threat intelligence activities to safeguard organizational assets.
- Support automation efforts through scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Ruby on Rails to streamline operational tasks.
- Collaborate with development teams utilizing DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Git for continuous integration.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to computer networking protocols such as DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, and VPN connections.
- Contribute to the management of databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server by supporting database administration tasks.
- Gain experience with virtualization technologies including VMware ESXi, WDS (Windows Deployment Services), and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Engage in system monitoring using tools such as Nagios or Meraki dashboards to ensure high availability and performance.

- Knowledge of network fundamentals including TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, DHCP configuration, firewalls, and VPN setup.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure along with understanding of cloud security best practices.
- Experience with system management tools like VMware vSphere/ESXi or Hyper-V is a plus.
- Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues effectively through debugging techniques.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating across teams and documenting technical procedures.
- Eagerness to learn emerging technologies such as microservices architecture, quantum engineering concepts (basic understanding), and threat intelligence analysis.
