Job description
Security Bank & Trust Company is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Systems Officer to oversee the Bank's technology infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the security, integrity, and availability of the Bank's computer network and systems. As a key member of the Information Technology team, this position will serve as both the IT Systems/Network Officer and Cybersecurity Officer, advising executive leadership and the Board of Directors on emerging technology and cyber risk while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements., * Responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems; including workstations, servers, phones, printers, and other devices to ensure the availability of data.
- Organize, install, and support computer systems, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), network segments, intranets, firewalls, and other data communication systems and software.
- Oversee the bank's cybersecurity strategy, identifying and mitigating potential threats, implementing security measures, monitoring networks for suspicious activity, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up to date inventories and lifecycles of bank equipment; including but not limited to workstations, servers, data lines, phone lines, printers, and Office 365 licenses. Provide recommendations on replacement, maintenance, repair or change management as needed.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to plan, organize, and implement the Bank's technology goals. Lead discussions at IT Committee.
- Assist with guidance on the Bank's information security program, business continuity planning, disaster recovery, and incident response strategies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive IT and security policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and coordinate efforts across departments for system improvements.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Vendor relationship management?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration; or equivalent experience, preferably within the banking industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations, network administration, or information security.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk frameworks (e.g., GLBA, FFIEC, NIST, etc.).
- Proven leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Experience with IT governance, risk management, business continuity, and vendor management.
