Ability to load, configure, and utilize operating systems, develop platform automation tools, design and configure networks, run static code analyzers, implement cyber security best practices, scripting and software development are all skills needed for the position. This role should have both breadth of knowledge and experience with multiple domains such as digital hardware (CPU, GPU, FPGA), Firmware, and Software. In this position, the Computer Engineer will interact with teammates, internal project leadership, and possibly external stakeholders to determine requirements and then work both with the team and individually to translate the requirements into integrated and secure automated solutions. They may be responsible for prototyping and documenting possible solutions within the project framework.

For Environment development, staff member will configure and manage RF laboratory equipment to include test beds comprised of full systems (User Interface server, embedded RF processing digital electronics, and RF Front End systems). This includes ensuring standup and maintain of development computers, servers running system code, and networking with the RF laboratory. Lastly continued improvement to the existing development environment (Gitlab and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment technologies) are needed.

Participation in a team environment is expected. The environment is highly collaborative and team-centric with broad support for professional development, strategic and project innovation, and traditional training.

The successful candidate will have the ability to provide automated platform solutions by synergizing researching technology fundamentals, testing and evaluating those hypotheses in a controlled test environment and then planning and implementing those solutions to satisfy requirements.
