Job description
The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, security, and support of Ellafi's IT infrastructure and enterprise systems. This role supports servers, virtualization environments, network systems, cloud services, cybersecurity tools, endpoint devices, and backup environments while also providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to employees across multiple locations.

What You'll Do:
Infrastructure & Systems Administration
- Administer and maintain VMware/ESXi environments, virtual servers, storage systems, and physical infrastructure
- Support network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, wireless networks, VPNs, VoIP systems, and cabling
- Manage Windows Server technologies including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and PowerShell
- Maintain backup and disaster recovery environments
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and reliability
End User & Technical Support
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot operating systems and enterprise applications
- Support employee onboarding/offboarding and account provisioning
- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities identified through patch management and security tools
- Support endpoint and network security systems including antivirus, firewalls, filtering tools, and access controls
- Administer SIEM platforms and respond to security alerts/incidents
- Assist with IT audits and compliance initiatives
Microsoft 365 & Enterprise Applications
- Administer Microsoft 365 / Office 365 environments
- Manage email security, spam filtering, mailbox administration, and mail flow troubleshooting
- Support enterprise applications and coordinate with vendors as needed
Operations & Additional Support
- Maintain IT asset inventory and technical documentation
- Coordinate workstation deployments and branch technology setups
- Support banking technology including ATMs, ITMs, and cash recyclers
- Participate in occasional after-hours/on-call support
- Travel periodically to branch locations as needed
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in macOS administration?, * Minimum 5 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, or related IT roles
- Experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
- Hands-on experience with:
- VMware/ESXi or Hyper-V
- Active Directory
- DNS/DHCP
- Firewalls and networking equipment
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Valid Connecticut driver's license with clean driving record
Preferred
- Experience supporting financial institution technology environments
- Familiarity with Corelation Keystone or other core banking systems
- Experience with cybersecurity monitoring and endpoint management tools
- PowerShell scripting experience

Pay: $80,458.13 - $110,938.81 per year, * 401(k)
