Requirements
In this role, you will install, configure, and maintain IT systems in both standalone and client-server environments. You will support Microsoft server infrastructure, Defense Message Systems (DMS), and other authorized government IT systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting end-user issues, performing hardware upgrades and repairs, and optimizing network performance across LAN and BAN environments. This position requires strong technical troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with network protocols and infrastructure technologies.

Specific Skillset

Install, configure, service, repair, and maintain IT systems in standalone and client-server environments, including Microsoft server platforms and Defense Message Systems (DMS)

Integrate multiple Information Systems (IS) within a secure networked environment and resolve customer IT issues
-
Perform hardware upgrades, component replacement, and system repairs to maintain operational capability
-
Install and configure wireless hubs, routers, switches, transmission media, and workstation hardware/software
-
Support storage networking devices and enterprise server hardware
-
Install, optimize, and troubleshoot Local Area Networks (LAN) and Base Area Networks (BAN)
-
Experience with IPv6, EIGRP, BGP, VLANs, VPNs, and Network Address Translation (NAT)
Requirements
Education & Certifications

CompTIA A+
-
CompTIA Security+
-
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred
-
Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) preferred
-
DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification required
Experience Requirements

4+ years of relevant IT work experience

Experience supporting government or DoD IT environments preferred

60,000-90,000
