Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to support the Quality Improvement team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role focuses on data entry, provider credentialing support, outreach, and administrative coordination. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a managed healthcare environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accuracy while handling confidential healthcare information.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram & Administrative Support
- Perform accurate data entry of provider records, documents, and files into internal systems.
- Conduct outreach calls to collect, verify, and update information for data entry and credentialing purposes.
- Assist with provider credentialing activities, including preparing credentialing files, completing data entry, and organizing documentation for review.
- Respond to provider and internal staff inquiries regarding credentialing status and provider information.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support departmental priorities and quality improvement initiatives.
- Identify and report issues impacting production, timelines, or quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with Protected Health Information (PHI) confidentiality requirements and secure handling of sensitive information.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support departmental projects and complete additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Quality data entry?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, To be considered, candidates should have:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of data entry experience in a healthcare or administrative setting.
- Experience working in a managed healthcare environment strongly preferred.
- Knowledge or background in provider data and/or credentialing highly preferred.
- Experience working within a provider or credentialing system is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and data entry systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Background / Ideal Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have experience with:
- Managed healthcare organizations, health plans, hospitals, medical groups, or provider networks.
- Provider enrollment, provider data management, credentialing, or healthcare administration.
- Healthcare documentation, provider records, and compliance standards.
- Working with confidential healthcare information and maintaining HIPAA/PHI compliance.
- Multi-tasking, organization, and problem-solving in a deadline-driven environment.
- Bilingual abilities in languages such as Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, Korean, or Russian are a plus.
