Principal Technician (LAN)

• Directing 3rd level fault resolution on Local Area Network (LAN) Elements to sectors, sites, and the Service Area cells;
• Operating day-to-day local and remote network sites routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure including some tasks that require installation and troubleshooting of the physical layer;
• Advising on fault diagnosis throughout North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) sites utilizing a number of management platforms (e.g., HP Network Automation, InterMapper, Splunk).

Do you have experience in VMware?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * University degree in a field related to the function of the post OR exceptionally, the lack of a university/college degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or at least 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in the duties related to the function of the post;

• Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements;
• Knowledge of NATO responsibilities, structure and organization, including Allied Command Operations (ACO) and Allied Command Transformation (ACT).
