Network Security Pre Sales Consultant (CCNA/CCNP)

We are assisting a Cisco Partner client in recruiting a Network Security Pre Sales Engineer to join their technical solutions team.

This opportunity would suit someone with hands-on Cisco networking experience and existing pre sales, sales support or technical consultancy exposure, who is looking to further develop their design, customer facing and commercial skills within an MSP / Service Provider environment.

You will support sales teams and customers across networking, wireless and security solutions, assisting with technical discovery, solution design, BOM creation and proposal development.

Environment / Technologies

Cisco, LAN, WAN, Wireless, WiFi, Network Security, Firewalls, Routing & Switching, Cisco ISE, Meraki, SDA, MSP, Professional Services, * Support sales teams on customer meetings and technical discovery calls

• Assist in the design of Cisco LAN, Wireless and Network Security solutions
• Produce BOMs, quotations and technical documentation
• Support proposal responses, tenders and customer presentations
• Work closely with internal technical delivery and project teams
• Maintain strong knowledge across Cisco networking and security technologies
• Assist with solution development and customer technical queries
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and vendor solutions

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Network security?, * Experience within a networking, infrastructure or pre sales environment

• Good understanding of Cisco networking technologies
• Experience supporting customer solution design
• Experience producing technical documentation and BOMs
• Strong communication and customer facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and opportunities simultaneously
• MSP, Service Provider or Professional Services experience desirable

Certifications

• Cisco CCNA required
• Progression towards CCNP highly desirable
• Equivalent vendor certifications also considered, * Home based role with occasional travel to customer sites
• Full UK driving licence required
• Full right to work in the UK required

£55,000 - £70,000 + Benefits Remote / Home Based with occasional customer travel
