Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and technically minded IT Support Assistant to join the team at Accent Catering. Reporting to the Systems Accountant, this role is ideal for someone looking to develop their IT career within a fast-paced and growing business.

Supporting both our Head Office and over 170 remote sites, you will provide first and second line technical support across hardware, software and user issues, ensuring colleagues throughout the business receive efficient and professional IT support., * Providing first and second line IT support across Head Office and remote sites

  • Setting up and configuring PCs, laptops and mobile phones
  • Managing Active Directory user accounts, permissions and password resets
  • Providing remote support for printers, Wi-Fi connectivity and device troubleshooting
  • Assisting with server support, backups and network infrastructure
  • Supporting ad hoc IT and systems-related projects
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business to resolve technical issues
  • Providing excellent customer service and support to end users

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities and a genuine passion for technology. Training will be provided for the right candidate, making this an excellent opportunity for someone keen to learn and progress technically within a supportive environment., * A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop technically
  • Ability to manage workloads effectively in a fast-paced environment

Experience or an active interest in any of the following would also be advantageous:-

  • First and second line IT support
  • Excel formula optimisation
  • Macro debugging
  • SQL query writing
  • Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power BI
