Technical Support Assistant

The overall purpose of the role is to provide support to our engineers in the field, configuring routers and providing light level readings to our equipment. This is a demanding role, calling for a high standard of attention to detail.

This role will suit individuals who are looking to work in a fast paced technical support environment and provide customers with a brand new connection to their property, being the first line of customer equipment configuration.

Main Responsibilities

• Router configuration
• Remote supporting engineers with router upgrades
• Configuring phone lines
• Applying IP addresses to customers connection
• Access point set up

Working hours

37.5 hours per week, these hours will be worked on a rota basis between the business hours of

• Monday - Friday 9.00am - 7.00pm
• Saturday 9.00am - 5.00pm
• Sunday 9.00am - 5.00pm

To meet the needs of the customer, you will need to be flexible with your working hours

Do you have experience in Technical support?, * Good knowledge of gaming, both hosted and online

• Strong knowledge of in home wireless networking and propagation
• Analytical, structured approach to problem solving
• Fully aware of the impact of their and the teams decisions have on the customer
• Excellent communication skills in order to provide clear and concise e-mail support
• Self-motivated, self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
• Able to remain calm and focused in an ever-changing environment
