IT Security & Infrastructure Engineer

We're looking for an IT Security & Infrastructure Engineer to support and improve core IT systems while strengthening cyber security controls across the business.

This role offers a mix of infrastructure engineering, security focus, and user support. You'll work on day-to-day operations as well as longer-term improvements, helping keep systems secure, stable, and aligned with compliance requirements.

This is an onsite role and therefore applicants must be commutable to the office.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing infrastructure across Windows Server, cloud, and network environments
• Supporting system performance, monitoring, and reliability
• Contributing to vulnerability management, patching, and security improvements
• Assisting with Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification
• Providing technical support and resolving escalated issues
• Supporting system upgrades, migrations, and improvement initiatives
• Working with stakeholders to improve processes and reduce risk

Do you have experience in VMware?, * Experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or security roles

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and endpoint management
• Understanding of networking and IT infrastructure fundamentals
• Experience with patching, system updates, and security controls
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical users

Nice to Have

• Experience with Cyber Essentials (CE/CE+)
• Azure or cloud infrastructure experience
• Exposure to VMware, backup, or security tooling
• Familiarity with ITIL or security frameworks
