Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Services Field Support to join us, field based covering our Yorkshire and North-East regions. Reporting into the Technical Services Manager, hey will champion IT and business initiatives and be a focal point, assisting/training the regional and site teams to adopt technologies. The role will play a key part in the successful coordination, delivery, in-life support, and removal/re-deployment of digital technology solutions utilised by our business.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in SharePoint?, The daily duties of the Technical Services Field Support will be varied in scope and complexity, and therefore the individual should have a sound and broad technical knowledge, an eye for detail, coupled with good "hands on" practical skills e.g., working at height, using power tools, and installing a variety of technologies, equipment and cabling. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge and hands on experience of Microsoft products and technologies, with knowledge of infrastructure, applications, and networking technologies and the ability to deploy, configure and troubleshoot effectively., We are looking for someone who fits with our core values here at Keepmoat; they will be passionate about technology and delivering good service. They will have a straightforward approach when it comes to solving technical problems in the most effective way for their internal customers., * Driving nationwide is an essential part of the role and therefore applicants should hold a relevant UK Full Clean driving licence

  • Experience in a similar field-based role, specifically in a mixed technology environment.
  • Ability to learn and understand business technologies such as applications, and desktop technologies with the ability to deploy, configure and troubleshoot effectively

Desirable:

  • Any current/recent technical training and/or qualifications
  • Any previous experience with field engineering services, in a mixed technology environment e.g. IT, Audio Visual, Digital Signage
  • Any previous experience with cellular technologies 3G, 4G or 5G
  • Experience with desktop support
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 services (Email, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Experience of working to the ITL framework
