Job description

We're seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist / Application Tester. You'll provide independent testing services throughout the development lifecycle for Intelligence Production Systems Applications and Services. The program supports the full intelligence production pipeline - from drafting and collaboration to dissemination and conveyance to policy makers. This role is critical to ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of applications that support mission-critical operations., Perform independent testing services continuously throughout the development lifecycle Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing applications Conduct unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing Test mobile applications built for iOS using Apple ecosystem tools (Xcode, Swift, SwiftUI) Validate applications supporting intelligence production, collaboration, dissemination, and conveyance workflows Identify, document, and track defects through resolution Collaborate with development teams within Agile sprints to ensure quality standards are met Leverage enterprise SecDevOps tools (GitHub, Jenkins) for automated testing and CI/CD integration Conduct maintenance testing on existing infrastructure and applications Provide test status reporting and quality metrics to stakeholders

Requirements

Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph Experience with Agile development methodology Experience with testing of new applications across the full development lifecycle Experience performing independent testing services continuously throughout the development lifecycle Experience with enterprise SecDevOps tools (GitHub, Jenkins) Experience ensuring that software development encompasses unit/integration testing, user acceptance testing, and coordination of system changes Familiarity with application development in Ruby, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, C/Objective C, R, and/or Python Experience with mobile application testing, especially under iOS or the Apple ecosystem, Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks Experience with performance and load testing Experience supporting Intelligence Community clients Knowledge of information security testing practices Experience with test management and defect tracking tools Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) ISTQB or similar software testing certification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
