Job description

The candidate will lead a team of developers, work closely with architects, product owners, and UX teams, and ensure delivery of high-quality headless commerce and API-driven eCommerce solutions Roles & Responsibilities Technical Leadership

  • Lead the design and development of BigCommerce solutions

  • Provide technical guidance to development teams

  • Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards

  • Participate in architecture discussions and solution design

BigCommerce Development

  • Customize BigCommerce storefront using Stencil framework

  • Develop custom themes, templates, and extensions

  • Implement checkout and cart customizations

  • Work with BigCommerce Storefront APIs

Headless Commerce

  • Implement headless commerce architecture

  • Integrate BigCommerce with frontend frameworks like:

  • React

  • Next.js

  • Vue.js

Integration

  • Integrate BigCommerce with enterprise systems such as:

  • ERP (SAP / Oracle / NetSuite)

  • CRM (Salesforce)

  • PIM / DAM

  • Payment gateways

  • Shipping providers

Performance & Scalability

  • Optimize storefront performance

  • Implement caching and CDN strategies

  • Ensure high availability and scalability

DevOps & Deployment

  • Work with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline implementation

  • Manage deployment across Dev, QA, and Production environments

  • Support cloud deployments on AWS or Azure

Requirements
