Job description

Bowhead is seeking professionals to connect with regarding a potential upcoming opportunity supporting the Technical Project Support Services (TPSS) contract. TPSS provides support to Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) in delivering mission-critical systems and services. The effort provides a wide range of technical, project management, engineering, logistics, training, and administrative support for air, ship, shore, expeditionary, and surveillance systems that directly support warfighter operations.

Bowhead will provide technical and project management, budget execution, material procurement, data management, training, and graphics, media, communications, and clerical support. These services will directly support multiple major defense acquisition programs and a broad range of weapons systems, identification systems; expeditionary and range control systems; operational control systems; integration, production, installation, and certification; system, mission, and software engineering; and fleet area control and surveillance facility field maintenance. These positions are located in Patuxent, MD., Where driving may be required or where a rental car must be obtained for business travel purposes, applicants must have a valid driver license for this position and will be subject to verification. In addition, the applicant must pass an in-house, online, driving course to be authorized to drive for company purposes.

Requirements

  • Required education, years of experience, and certifications will vary based on position requirements.

  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts

  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds

  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to maintain a clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Secret clearance at this location.
