Job description
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to design and build dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions that help business and technical teams make better decisions.
This role is focused on dashboard design and development, not heavy production reporting. The ideal candidate has strong SQL skills, experience with SQL Server, and hands-on dashboard development experience using Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau.
The position supports healthcare-related reporting and analytics, including operational, quality, medical management, and business performance initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and BI solutions
- Work with business users to understand reporting needs and turn them into clear, usable dashboards
- Use SQL to extract, validate, and prepare data for dashboard development
- Build visualizations in Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau
- Support the full BI development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, documentation, and production support
- Ensure reports and dashboards are accurate, complete, and easy to interpret
- Partner with technical teams and business leaders on data initiatives
- Train users on new or updated dashboards and reporting tools
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical documentation?, * 5-8 years of relevant BI, reporting, analytics, or dashboard development experience
- Strong dashboard development experience with Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau
- Strong SQL skills
- SQL Server / T-SQL experience strongly preferred
- Ability to gather requirements from business users and translate them into effective reporting solutions
- Strong understanding of data accuracy, testing, documentation, and BI development best practices
- Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Healthcare industry experience
- Experience with claims, encounters, member/provider data, medical management, or quality improvement data
- Data modeling experience
- SSRS experience
- Data quality analysis experience
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology such as ICD-10, CPT, or HCPCS
