Job description
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, strategic project manager to play a pivotal role in a rapidly expanding insurance group., We are seeking an Integrations Project Manager to drive the structured, disciplined execution of post-close integrations for our Company's acquisition strategy. This role is critical to realizing deal value - and the person who fills it will be defined by their ability to bring order to complexity, align cross-functional stakeholders, and relentlessly drive workstreams to completion.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned project manager who has owned large, multi-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments. You instinctively reach for a project plan. You track open items before anyone asks. You know how to run a status meeting that actually moves things forward. Industry background in insurance is a plus, but what sets you apart is your project management craft - the frameworks, the discipline, and the communication skills to integrate an acquired company without losing a single thread.
You will own the integration process from Day 1 planning through steady-state operations, coordinating across every function to ensure acquisitions are absorbed on time, on budget, and with minimal disruption to customers and employees., * Serve as the single integration project lead for each acquired company - owning the master integration plan, managing the project lifecycle end-to-end, and serving as the primary point of accountability for on-time delivery across all workstreams
- Build, maintain, and continuously update comprehensive integration project plans covering all functional workstreams: finance, HR, IT, legal, compliance, operations, sales, and marketing - with clearly defined milestones, owners, dependencies, and risk flags
- Facilitate weekly workstream syncs and executive steering committee updates, translating detailed project status into crisp, action-oriented communication for senior leadership
- Proactively identify integration risks, resource constraints, and cross-workstream dependencies; own the risk register and drive mitigation plans to resolution before issues impact timelines
- Lead Day 1 readiness planning - coordinating all pre-close preparation activities across functions to ensure a seamless transition experience for acquired employees, customers, and vendors at close
- Track synergy capture progress, integration milestones, and operational KPIs throughout the integration lifecycle; build reporting dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility into deal value realization
- Own the company's integration playbook - documenting processes, templates, and lessons learned after each transaction to continuously improve integration speed, consistency, and quality
- Support pre-close diligence by scoping integration complexity, estimating timelines and resource requirements, and surfacing operational risks that could affect deal structure or post-close planning
Requirements
Do you have experience in Stakeholder relationship building?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * 3-5 years of experience in project management, program management, or PMO leadership - with demonstrated experience owning complex, multi-functional projects end-to-end in a corporate or consulting environment
- Proven track record managing M&A integrations, organizational change initiatives, or large-scale operational transformation programs; candidates who have owned an integration from close through steady-state are strongly preferred
- Mastery of project management methodologies and tools - PMP, Agile, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred; proficiency with platforms such as Asana, Smartsheet, Monday.com, MS Project, or similar
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills - equally effective running a working-level workstream sync and presenting integration status to a C-suite steering committee
- Strong change management instincts: able to anticipate resistance, align competing priorities, and maintain momentum across teams that don't share a reporting line
- Financial literacy - comfortable interpreting deal models, understanding synergy targets, and tracking value realization against acquisition thesis
- Familiarity with insurance operations or other regulated service industries is a plus but not required
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA, PMP, or relevant advanced credential preferred, * Project management: 3 years (Preferred)
