R&I Line Trial Support Technician

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented R&I Line Trial Support Technician to join our innovative team. In this vital role, you will assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of research and innovation line trials focused on agricultural and animal husbandry advancements. Your energetic approach will ensure trials run smoothly, supporting the development of cutting-edge farming techniques, animal care practices, and equipment testing. • This role requires attending line trials and first productions, collecting data about the runs, and writing report summaries. Other related support may be needed as well.
• Assist with the preparation and setup of trial areas, including equipment installation and calibration.
• Support the operation of farm machinery, irrigation systems, and greenhouses during trial runs.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding, and other repair techniques.
• Manage heavy lifting tasks and operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and other farm equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor animal husbandry activities, ensuring proper animal handling, care, and welfare throughout trials.
• Document trial procedures, data collection, and observations accurately for analysis and reporting purposes
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues promptly and implement solutions to keep trials on schedule.

Do you have experience in Word embeddings?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Experience working on a production line or in a production environment is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to use Microsoft Office software including Outlook and Excel and Word.
• Must have knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP), applying these standards in daily operations to ensure quality and compliance
• Must be able to communicate well in English.
• Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods (60+ minutes
