Job description
Architecture & Platform Engineering
- Design, build, and manage Azure Application Gateway configurations, including:
- HTTPS listeners, routing rules, path-based routing
- Web Application Firewall (WAF) policies
- SSL/TLS termination and certificate lifecycle
- Build and maintain Azure App Services and App Service Plans for:
- AI chat agent services
- API services
- Integration microservices
- Reporting and backend automation workloads
- Engineer secure integrations with:
- Azure SQL DB
- Azure Blob Storage
- SharePoint Online
- Azure AI Services / Azure OpenAI
- Power Automate + ADF
- Data Lake & Reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI)
Application Development
- Develop and maintain Angular UI / Azure Web App frontend.
- Develop backend APIs (Node.js, .NET, Python, or equivalent) hosted on Azure App Services.
- Implement secure inter-service communication patterns using managed identities, OAuth, and API keys.
- Build AI agent endpoints and integrate LLM models with enterprise data and workflows.
DevOps, CI/CD, Automation
- Build CI/CD pipelines using:
- Azure DevOps
- GitHub Actions
- Automate infrastructure deployments using:
- Bicep, Terraform, ARM, or Azure CLI
- Manage versioning, deployment slots, and staged rollouts.
Security & Governance
- Implement enterprise-grade security controls:
- VNET integration
- Private endpoints
- Identity and Access Management (Azure AD / Entra ID)
- Secrets management via Key Vault
- Maintain compliance with corporate security, audit, and logging requirements.
Observability & Operations
- Configure monitoring, dashboards, and alerting through:
- Application Insights
- Log Analytics
- Azure Monitor
- Diagnose production issues across the full stack:
- Network routing
- SSL certificate failures
- App Service performance
- SQL queries & connection health
- Performance tuning and cost optimization across compute, storage, and AI services.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Web applications?, Cloud & Architecture
- 5+ years working with Azure Application Gateway, App Services, VNETs, Private Endpoints.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, load balancing, firewalls, SSL/TLS, and routing.
- Hands-on experience developing scalable microservices on Azure.
Development
- Angular or React proficiency (Angular strongly preferred).
- Backend expertise in one or more:
- C# / .NET
- Node.js
- Python
- Experience building REST APIs, serverless functions, and long-running workloads.
AI & Data Ecosystem
- Experience integrating with Azure OpenAI / Cognitive Services.
- Familiarity with enterprise data services:
- Azure SQL
- SharePoint Online
- Azure Blob / Data Lake
- Power Automate
- Tableau / Power BI
DevOps
- Strong experience with:
- Azure DevOps Pipelines
- GitHub Actions
- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and optional Kubernetes exposure.
