Job description

Organizes, plans, coordinates and maintains all Capacity Building Technical Assistance to ensure appropriate information is shared between Cherokee Nation and the Cherokee community-based organizations. Travels (drives) extensively between specified sites. Job Duties: Assigns and arranges dates and times of individual technical assistance services. Provides timely reminders of upcoming individual sessions. Checks with organizations immediately following individual technical assistance sessions to ensure that services were provided as needed. Collects individual technical assistance session evaluation from each organization's group leader. Recruits technical assistance providers on an ongoing basis. Collects attendance sheets from individual sessions. Submits Units of Individual Technical Assistance reports from compiled attendance each month to Technical Assistance Coordinator. Identifies Best Practices for:

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Word processing?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Bachelor's degree from 4-year college or university; or six years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Communications, Business, Management, Marketing, Information Systems, Education, or Non-Profit Management., Three (3) years of experience in a related field is required. COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. A valid driver's license is required to travel extensively from one site to another. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must have knowledge of and be able to use web-based technology. Ability to share information through story telling. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Must have knowledge of 501c3 nonprofit management or have worked with nonprofit organization. Must have knowledge or have worked with small Cherokee communities.
