Job description
CODEplus is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support modernization, infrastructure transformation, and DevSecOps enablement efforts supporting mission-critical Army tactical systems.
The selected candidate will support the design, deployment, automation, security, and sustainment of scalable cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments aligned with Agile, DevSecOps, and MOSA principles., * Design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments supporting mission-critical applications
- Support cloud migration, modernization, scalability, and infrastructure optimization initiatives
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and configuration management solutions
- Integrate cloud infrastructure into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines
- Support containerized environments and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Implement security controls, monitoring, logging, and RMF-aligned compliance measures across cloud environments
- Collaborate with software engineering, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and systems engineering teams
- Support operational readiness, system resiliency, disaster recovery, and performance optimization efforts
Requirements
Do you have experience in Zero Trust security?, Junior-level - 2-3 years of experience
Mid-level - 4-8 years of experience
Senior-level - 10+ years of experience, * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Government Cloud environments
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, or container orchestration technologies
- Experience supporting CI/CD integration and DevSecOps environments
- Knowledge of Linux administration, scripting, automation, and monitoring tools
- Understanding of Zero Trust, RMF, cybersecurity compliance, and secure cloud architectures
- Experience supporting tactical, mission-critical, or DoD systems environments is highly desired, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
- Cloud engineering or infrastructure automation experience
- Relevant cloud certifications preferred (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Security+, etc.)
- Experience supporting DoD or classified environments preferred
