Job description
Integrity Auto Care is looking for a friendly, dependable person to join our front office team as a Customer Care & Front Desk Assistant. This is a customer service, front desk, and office support position. You do not need automotive experience. You do not need to know how to diagnose cars, explain repairs, or estimate service work.
Your main role will be to help customers feel welcomed, heard, cared for, and properly connected to the right person on our team. You will be one of the first people our customers speak with when they call, text, email, or walk through our front door. That makes this role very important to the experience we provide.
What You'll Do
You will help answer phones, greet customers, take clear notes, gather basic information, support the front office, and help keep our customer areas clean, organized, and welcoming.
A normal day may include:
- Answering phones with a warm, upbeat, professional voice
- Greeting every person with kindness and respect.
- Collecting or confirming customer information.
- Taking clear notes and passing information to the right team member
- Helping with text messages, emails, and follow-up communication
- Supporting the Service Manager and Service Writer with basic office tasks
- Helping customers feel comfortable while they're here
- Keeping the front desk, lobby, entry hall, & customer-viewed areas clean/presentable.
- Helping with customer pickup, payments, & the flow of our essential process.
- Helping your teammates move customer vehicles as needed
- Helping shuttle our clients as needed
What This Job Is Not
- This is not a mechanic position.
- This is not a service writer position.
- This is not a sales position.
- This is not a technical automotive position.
You will not be expected to explain vehicle problems, diagnose issues, or quote repairs.
When a customer asks a question outside of your expertise, your job will be to listen, write down the details, and connect them with the right person. A good answer in this role sounds like:
"I don't have that kind of technical information, but I want to make sure I understand what you need and get it to the person who can help.", * Attendance matters in this role! The front desk is a critical part of the customer experience, & the team will be depending on you being present, prepared, and ready to help - Dependably!
- Good written communication matters. Texts and emails should be clear, professional, and appropriate before they are sent.
- The lobby matters. We are investing heavily in our customer areas, and this person will help make sure customers see a clean, professional, welcoming space when they arrive.
- A criminal background does not automatically disqualify a candidate from consideration.
Why This Role Matters
Customers can go almost anywhere and be treated like an invoice. That is not what we want. At Integrity Auto Care, we want people to feel welcomed, respected, listened to, and cared for from the moment they call or walk in. If you enjoy helping people, answering phones, keeping things organized, and being part of a small team that cares about doing things the right way, this may be a strong fit.
