Host Merchant Services is seeking a motivated and technology-minded Payment Technology Support Specialist to join our growing team in Newark, Delaware.
This is an opportunity to build a career in the rapidly evolving Financial Technology (FinTech) industry while working with payment systems, business software, hardware devices, software integrations, automation tools, and emerging AI technologies.

As a Payment Technology Support Specialist, you will play a key role in helping businesses implement and support these solutions. You will work directly with merchants, software platforms, payment gateways, point-of-sale systems, and internal technology teams to solve problems and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

What You'll Do
As part of our Operations and Support Team, you will:
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Troubleshoot payment processing, terminal, gateway, software, and integration-related issues
- Assist new customers during onboarding and implementation
- Work with hardware devices including payment terminals, POS systems, and related technology
- Coordinate with internal departments and third-party vendors to resolve customer issues
- Document customer interactions and maintain accurate account records
- Assist customers with software configuration and technology adoption
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements
- Learn and support emerging technologies, automation platforms, and AI-driven solutions as they are introduced into our products and operations

Requirements
Do you have experience in Teamwork?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, We are looking for someone who is:
- Naturally curious and enjoys learning new technology
- Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues and researching solutions
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A team player who can also work independently when needed, * 1-3 years of customer service, technical support, help desk, banking, office administration, retail management, or related experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience is equally valued
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience working with software platforms, hardware devices, or technology products is a plus
- Technical certifications such as A+, Network+, or similar are helpful but not required
- Excellent typing, documentation, and data-entry accuracy
