Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. A minimum of 6 years of experience and a bachelor's degree are required. You will be responsible for driving automation and efficiency across various technical teams, leveraging your technical expertise to streamline processes, improve productivity, and reduce costs. You will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for automation. The Technical Automation Specialist role is highly visible, challenging, and rewarding, with excellent opportunities for career growth. The Technical Automation Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation and efficiency improvements. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using a variety of technologies and tools., Automation Strategy: Collaborate with technical teams to identify areas for automation and efficiency improvements Develop and implement automation strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs and enhance overall quality Technical Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using various technologies and tools, such as scripting languages (e.g., Phyton, PowerShell), automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform), monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), log and data management (e.g., Splunk, Elastic Stack (ELK), and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with technical teams to integrate automation solutions with existing systems, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to services Technical Guidance and Support: Provide technical guidance and support to technical teams on automation best practices, troubleshooting, and issue resolution Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor automation solutions, identify areas for improvement, and optimize automation workflows to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain accurate documentation of automation solutions, including design, development, and deployment processes. Share knowledge and best practices with technical teams through training, workshops, and documentation Programming Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash

Requirements

Do you have experience in Tooling?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Automation Frameworks: Experience with automation frameworks such as Ansible, SaltStack, or Puppet CI/CD Tools: Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Containerization: Knowledge: Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes IT Service Management: Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL. Familiarity with incidents, problems, and changes management system such as ServiceNow Operating Systems: Experience with Linux and/or Windows operating systems Troubleshooting and Debugging: Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills , Desired Skills

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Certified Ansible Engineer Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban Infrastructure as Code: Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and technologies
