Job description

Motivated entry-level IT Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for desktop support, ensuring seamless operations for our employees.

In addition to hardware and software troubleshooting, this role acts as a primary liaison with our MSPs and supports the deployment and maintenance of internal AI-driven productivity tools., Setup, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, peripherals, and printers (Windows 10/11, macOS). Help support deployment of specialized hardware for internal test stands used to run our valve tracking and evaluation software. Provide prompt technical support via coordination with MSP ticketing system for in-office and remote employees. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and LAN issues.

3P MSP Liaison & Vendor Management (20%)

Act as the primary onsite point of contact for external MSP technical staff. Escalate, track, and monitor ticket resolutions managed by external partners to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met. Assist with asset management (procurement, tracking, and refreshing hardware).

AI Experience & Emerging Technology (60%)

Provide troubleshooting and support for AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, or AI-integrated software). Assist in documenting and promoting best practices for using company-provided AI tools. Gather user feedback on AI tool functionality and liaise with management on potential improvements. CompTIA A+ certification required.

Documentation & General Support

Maintain and update internal knowledge base articles, assist with IT onboarding documentation, and IT asset inventory
