Job description
A local company is seeking a Network Administrator to assist with technology, firewalls, switches, servers, networks, workstations, hardware and software. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Job Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain client networks (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN
- Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Monitor network performance, up-time, traffic, and security risks
- Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and routing issues
- Implement network security; firewalls, segmentation, and intrusion prevention
- Managing IP addresses; DNS, DHCP, VLANs
- Provide escalated all-level technical support to customers via phone, email and through our ticketing system
- Respond to service requests in a timely manner
- Recommend improvements to our internal processes to maximize customer service levels
- Develop rapport with clients as a trusted resource for help

Requirements
- Must have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in similar technology support role required
- Must have experience and current working knowledge of networking, firewalls, switches and VLANS.
- Must be committed to improving your technical and soft skills through company offered and self-guided study to further your career in IT
- Must have a strong technological aptitude, work ethic, and problem-solving skills
- Must have exceptionally strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills while being detail oriented
