Job description
Design, develop, and implement solutions for dispute management processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards. * Build, maintain, modify, and integrate cross-functional, multi-platform application systems using Pega Smart Dispute. * Lead the design and development of specifications and perform code reviews.
Requirement Analysis & Documentation * Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for dispute resolution systems, translating them into technical specifications and design solutions. * Define and document requirements for data, workflow, processes, systems, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs to ensure the application exceeds expectations.
Customization & Configuration * Customize and configure the Pega Smart Dispute application to meet specific business needs, leveraging Pega''s capabilities for workflow automation, decisioning, and user interface development. * Work with various features like flows, activities, user interface, flow actions, agents, SLA, correspondence, single sign-on, reports, listeners, MQ, REST APIs, and SOAP services.
Leadership & Strategy * Serve as the subject matter expert in business systems and Smart Dispute, using that knowledge to drive delivery excellence. * Plan and lead execution of PRPC implementation projects and understand digital transformation strategies of the bank.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in Pega Smart Dispute development, with a focus on designing and implementing dispute management processes. * Must have experience in Pega Smart Dispute Framework (SDF). * Experience in Pega 8.x onwards, including cloud-based deployments. * Strong knowledge of Pega architecture, design, and implementation. * At least 2-4+ years of financial industry experience, preferably in banking. * Proficiency in PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) with good knowledge of Java, J2EE, JSP, XML.
Certifications * Pega Certification is required; CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect) certification is highly preferred. * CLSA (Certified Lead System Architect) is a plus., Experience with iterative development and Agile methodology as it applies to software development. * Effective analytical thinking skills, including summarizing information and clearly identifying key elements, patterns, results, or relationships.
Nice-to-Have Skills * Credit cards or payments domain experience * Experience with Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) * Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform) * Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in Pega * Experience working effectively with diverse internal and external contacts.
