Design Engineer

• Experienced in Producing 3D CADad models using Solidworks (other formats considered), detailed engineering manufacturing drawings and technical presentations.
• Generating bills of material & technical procurement
• Creating and managing change requests where required
• Active involvement with Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Active participation in internal and external face to face liaison and electronic meetings
• Active participation in the development of tooling quotations packages.

• Ideally, at least 5 years' experience a proven industry experience in the subject role or a similar design role ideally 3-5 years experience on a range of Ceramic Core dies Wax pattern dies and associated tooling.in mould tool design
• Educated to HNC/Degree level in a suitable technical subject or a Time served apprentice preferably in the toolmaking industry
• Proven track record of delivering effective engineering solutions within cost ,time and quality requirements.

Requisites

• Highly motivated, Pro-active, Self-starter
• 3D CAD experience such as solid works is essential in Solidworks
• Able to work as an individual or part of a team to tight deadline targets
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem- solving skills attention to detail and accuracy
• Good IT literacy with MS office skills

• Salary commensurate with experience
• 40 hour working week, overtime @ 1.5 as required
• Holiday entitlement 25 days + Bank holidays
