Johnson Service Group is looking for a talented Presentation Designer with exceptional PowerPoint expertise, strong visual storytelling abilities, and a passion for creating polished, high-impact presentations. This is a contract to hire position in Fremont, CA.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where your work will be seen by executive leadership and key stakeholders across the organization., We are looking for a PowerPoint Designer who combines exceptional presentation craft with strong visual storytelling and a deeply collaborative mindset. This role is for a designer who brings executive-level polish to every slide, builds cohesive presentation systems, and understands how to communicate complex ideas through clean, compelling structure.
You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to transform strategy, data, and narratives into high-impact decks that perform in the boardroom and beyond. This is a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Collaboration is a core requirement., * Deliver polished, executive-ready presentations across internal communications, marketing, sales, and leadership storytelling.
- Design and maintain scalable PowerPoint template systems that upholds brand consistency across all deck types.
- Create slide layouts across a range of formats, including narrative decks, data-heavy reports, engineering decks, pitch materials, and company-wide communications.
Presentation Thinking & Visual Storytelling
- Translate complex information into clear, structured, and visually compelling slide content.
- Apply strong information hierarchy and flow to guide the audience through a cohesive narrative.
- Develop animation and transition strategies that enhance storytelling without distracting from content.
Collaboration & Partnership
- Work directly with executives, marketing leads, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to build decks that meet their communication goals.
- Interpret briefs, slide outlines, and rough drafts, shaping them into presentation-ready design.
- Provide clear recommendations on structure, layout, and visual approach.
- Offer guidance and templates to team members who produce their own presentations.
Execution & Delivery
- Own decks end-to-end, from initial concept and layout through final delivery.
- Ensure all decks are delivered on time, on brand, and ready for presenting.
- Maintain clean, organized, and shareable files that others can update with ease.
- Participate in reviews and contribute to a culture of creative excellence.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Visual communication design?, * BFA or BA in Design, Visual Communication, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 8+ years of experience in presentation design, with a portfolio of executive and corporate-level decks
- Portfolio demonstrating experience designing for executive audiences, including board presentations, all-hands events, and pitch decks.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including advanced animation, motion, and transition capabilities.
- Proven ability to build and maintain scalable presentation template systems
- Strong command of typography, layout, color, and data visualization within a slide format
- Detail-orientated, collaborative, and comfortable in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma
- Experience using AI tools in creative workflows is a plus
