Windows Server Administrator

Apex Systems has an Immediate Need for a Windows Server Administrator in Panama City, FL (Tyndall AFB) !! This will be an "est. 8+ Month Contract" opportunity, supporting one of our Largest DoD / Government Clients across the East Coast! Please See Below for all Position Details & How To Apply., Troubleshoot, Install, & maintain Windows Servers, operating systems (Windows, Linux, or macOS), applications, and hardware.

• Proactively monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, escalating complex issues to senior staff when necessary.
• Implement and maintain system security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
• Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, etc.)

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance as a condition and continuation of employment*

Secret Security Clearance (Eligibility)

• Security+CE
• 1+ Years of Windows Server Administration Level Experience
• 2 Years of Combined Systems or Desktop Administrator Level Experience
• 5 Years of Overall Work Experience
