Job description

The Reliability Engineer is responsible for leading reliability engineering programs and maintenance initiatives across our mining, smelting, and refining operations. This role optimizes equipment reliability and availability while ensuring safety and environmental compliance., * Develop and execute reliability strategy for mechanical equipment and systems including structures, boilers, motors, pumps, conveyors, and crushers.

  • Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement solutions to eliminate repetitive failures.
  • Develop and analyze reliability metrics to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis to optimize preventive maintenance tasks and intervals.
  • Create and maintain maintenance plans, procedures, spare parts inventory, and bill of materials.
  • Implement best practices for lubrication, vibration analysis, infrared thermography, and ultrasonic testing.
  • Identify critical spare parts required to minimize equipment downtimes.
  • Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and maintenance software tools.
  • Provide technical support for maintenance planning and execution.
  • Conduct training for the maintenance team on reliability principles and strategies.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical Proficiency?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree in engineering?, * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Systems Engineering.

  • 3+ years experience in reliability engineering role, preferably in mining/metals industry.
  • Working knowledge of reliability programs like RCM, FMEA, RBI, etc.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, reliability software tools, and CMMS platforms.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
