Cloud Engineer

We are seeking an Entry-Level Cloud Engineer to support cloud architecture, engineering, and deployment initiatives across AWS and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) environments. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational cloud knowledge who are looking to grow their expertise in cloud engineering, DevOps, automation, and infrastructure delivery.

The Cloud Engineer will work closely with senior cloud architects and engineering teams to design, implement, maintain, and optimize cloud-based solutions across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. The position requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a willingness to learn emerging cloud technologies., * Assist cloud architects with designing and deploying cloud solutions in AWS and Google Cloud Platform environments.

• Support implementation and maintenance of public, private, and hybrid cloud infrastructures.
• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure components.
• Assist with infrastructure provisioning and configuration through automation tools.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Support integration of cloud services with existing DevOps processes and tools.
• Document architecture decisions, deployment procedures, and technical configurations.
• Participate in proof-of-concept (POC) activities and technology evaluations.
• Assist with cloud workload performance analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Support cloud security initiatives and compliance requirements.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement cloud solutions.
• Support integration of cloud platforms with on-premises technologies including VMware, Cisco, Dell, and Nutanix environments.
• Maintain organized technical documentation and knowledge-sharing materials.

• 1-3 years of experience as a Cloud Delivery Analyst, Cloud Engineer, Business Analyst, or related role.
• Foundational knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Understanding of cloud deployment models and cloud architecture concepts.
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and software delivery processes.
• Experience working with web services and APIs.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and cloud engineering concepts.
• Collaborative mindset with strong team-oriented work habits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or PCI.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies.
• Linux administration experience.
• Database administration or database development experience.
• Understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Experience supporting multi-cloud environments.
• Exposure to VMware, Cisco, Dell, Nutanix, or other enterprise infrastructure platforms.
