Job description
A healthcare insurance client is hiring a Data Architect to design and implement scalable interoperability solutions aligned to CMS compliance standards. As the Data Architect your primary responsibility is developing and maintaining data models (logical, physical and conceptual) that support healthcare-specific requirements (Clinical, Claims, Member, Provider, EHR etc.). Additional responsibilities include: Design and implement scalable, flexible, and secure interoperability solutions aligned to USCDI-US Core compliant. Optimize data storage solutions, reducing latency and ensuring quick access to real-time and historical data. Help to establish and enforce data governance frameworks, ensuing data consistency, quality, and standardization across systems. Collaborate with IT Professionals and business leaders to understand their data needs and ensure architecture supports organizational goals. Evaluate and recommend data management technologies, platforms, frameworks, and methodologies that optimize data collection and integration for healthcare applications. Ensure data integrity, quality, security, and compliance and other relevant healthcare regulations to protect sensitive patient information with HIPAA standards.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in Data Architecture Expertise in data modeling activities to implement interoperability solutions for healthcare data 5+ years of experience in Azure Cloud environment 5+ years of experience developing data solutions for Databricks platform Expertise with data modeling tools like Erwin In-depth knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, CCDs, HIE, USCDI-US Core etc.). Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, PySpark and Python. Experience with integration tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Kafka, IBM Datastage, Informatica etc. Understanding of business intelligence (BI) and analytics platforms.
