- Administering and maintaining SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server environments
- Managing site collections, permissions, and governance policies
- Configuring and supporting SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and web parts
- Monitoring system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implementing improvements
- Supporting migrations, upgrades, and integrations with other Microsoft 365 services
- Ensuring data security, compliance, and backup/recovery processes are in place
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Providing end-user support, training, and documentation
- Automating business processes using Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar tools
- Maintaining system documentation, standards, and best practices
Requirements
Do you have experience in User-facing feature development?, We are currently looking for a SharePoint Administrator to join our Information Technology team located at our headquarters in Granite City, IL. Our ideal candidate for a SharePoint Administrator is someone who has 3 years of experience and will have hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and related Microsoft 365 technologies. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and end users to translate requirements into functional, secure, and scalable SharePoint solutions., * 3+ years of hands-on experience with SharePoint Online development and administration, including designing and optimizing site architecture such as hub sites, communication sites, and team sites.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and client-side development, with proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
- Working experience with integrations and APIs, including Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, and exposure to Azure Functions or other cloud-based integration solutions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 capabilities, including SharePoint integrations with Teams, OneDrive, Power BI reporting and embedding, and related governance models.
- Understanding of information architecture best practices, governance frameworks, and lifecycle management principles.
- Microsoft 365 or SharePoint-related certifications (e.g., MS-600, MS-700) preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects while working independently or collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and a collaborative, customer-focused mindset.
