Job description

A large healthcare system is seeking an Active Directory Engineer to join their team in Fort Washington, PA. This individual will support a Windows and virtualized environment and play a key role in Active Directory cleanup, policy management, and automation efforts., * Lead Active Directory cleanup initiatives, including restructuring and optimization

  • Create, maintain, and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
  • Perform Active Directory updates, patching, and ongoing maintenance
  • Support a Windows-based environment (Windows Server 2022/2025)
  • Develop automations by writing PowerShell scripts from scratch
  • Work within a virtualized environment (VMware and/or Hyper-V)

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience as an Active Directory Engineer
  • Strong experience creating and managing Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
  • Proven experience with Active Directory updates and patching
  • Advanced PowerShell skills, including writing scripts from scratch
  • Experience supporting Windows Server 2022 and/or 2025
