As a Sr. Quality / Automation Engineer - Automation engineer, you will assess tools to support the software engineering process, review engineering practices, and apply new technologies. You will help cross and merge the barriers that exist today in Quality Assurance. In this role, you will:
- Implement or enhance QE-Automation processes, tools, and methodologies
- Lead the design of test plans, scenarios, and execute testing, documenting and maintaining all test cases in Test Management tools.
- Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive manual and automated test suites for desktop applications, ensuring high test coverage and reliability.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, isolate, and troubleshoot issues in complex software systems.
- Drive the creation and enhancement of test automation frameworks while implementing automated testing within continuous integration workflows through Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Facilitate comprehensive communication of test results with emphasis on quality risks, taking ownership of ensuring all testing outcomes align with project requirements.
- Interact closely with product managers, development teams, and QE colleagues to understand project and product testing objectives.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret test metrics, summarize test data and reporting findings effectively.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science OR closely related field.
- 10+ years' related experience
- Knowledge and experience in programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, and PowerShell.
- Knowledge of .Net Framework, Windows OS and Linux OS.
- Demonstrated adaptability to thrive in fast-paced environments, complemented by a steadfast commitment to maintaining a customer-centric focus.
- Plan and implement testing-related tasks within an Agile environment with user stories and bugs management tools like Jira

The base salary range for this role is $161,700 - $258,800. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set.
