Teamhead Basis Operations ERP

The Teamlead SAP Basis Operations (ERP) is responsible for managing, operating, and continuously optimizing SAP systems across the global PUMA landscape. This role leads a team of SAP Basis professionals to ensure the high availability, performance, stability, and scalability of SAP environments, including SAP S/4HANA (Private Cloud), SAP ECC (R/3), and related components. Combining strong technical expertise with effective leadership capabilities, the role drives operational excellence and supports the execution of strategic SAP initiatives across the organization.

SAP Operations & Service Delivery

• Ensure stable, secure, and uninterrupted operation of SAP systems across all supported regions
• Manage and optimize SAP landscapes including S/4HANA (Private Cloud), SAP ECC (R/3), and related platforms
• Organize and oversee on-call support and incident management processes
• Manage external service providers and ensure delivery in line with defined SLAs and performance standards.

Technical Oversight

• Act as a hands-on expert for SAP Basis operations, providing guidance on complex technical topics
• Oversee system upgrades, patches, kernel updates, and support package implementations
• Monitor system performance and implement optimization measures to ensure efficiency and scalability
• Define and enforce SAP Basis standards, best practices, and operational procedures.

Global Scope & Governance

• Assume responsibility for SAP Basis operations across additional global regions, ensuring consistent service quality and system availability
• Standardize processes, tools, and governance models across regions
• Ensure alignment with global IT strategy, architecture standards, and security requirements.

Project & Transformation Support

• Support and drive SAP-related projects such as upgrades, rollouts, and technical transformations
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Business Solutions, Architecture, Project Management) and external partners
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of the SAP technology landscape.

Do you have experience in SAP S/4HANA?, * Deep expertise in SAP Basis with strong exposure to SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC landscapes
