Job description
Join a high-impact team shaping the future of enterprise data. This role leads the design and governance of a modern data ecosystem, driving how data flows from core ERP systems into a cloud-based analytics platform. You'll build scalable, secure data models that power reporting, advanced analytics, and AI/ML across finance, supply chain, operations, and commercial functions.
What You'll Do
- Define and implement enterprise data architecture standards (modeling, integration, governance)
- Design and optimize data models within a Databricks Lakehouse (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers)
- Lead modeling across key domains (finance, logistics, materials) leveraging SAP data structures
- Partner with engineering teams on ingestion, transformation, and pipeline performance
- Establish semantic layers for BI and self-service analytics
- Drive data quality, lineage, and security standards (including PII/PHI controls)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Provide architectural oversight and ensure consistency across data initiatives
Requirements
Do you have experience in Schema design?, * 7+ years in data architecture or data engineering (enterprise-scale environments)
- Strong experience with Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Lakehouse architecture)
- Deep knowledge of SAP data models (ECC or S/4HANA preferred)
- Expertise in dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas)
- Advanced SQL and Python skills
- Experience in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and lineage
Nice to Have
- SAP BW or CDS views experience
- Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Exposure to AI/ML data pipelines or data mesh concepts
