Job description

  • We are seeking a Project Engineer to support Advanced Programs within the Integration & Test Equipment (IT&E) organization.
  • This role is responsible for coordinating project activities, maintaining schedules, supporting material procurement, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful program execution.
  • The ideal candidate will have project management experience, strong organizational skills, and experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, or defense programs., * Serve as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for Advanced Programs.
  • Maintain and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to ensure alignment with program milestones and resource plans.
  • Track project schedules, deliverables, and program progress.
  • Act as the primary liaison for material procurement activities, including requisitions, receipt verification, and kitting support.
  • Coordinate activities between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and program management teams.
  • Prepare project status reports and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Support Earned Value Management (EVMS) activities and project tracking.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and improve documentation quality.
  • Support project execution from planning through completion.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

  • Minimum of 3 years of Project Management or Project Engineering experience.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and building strong professional relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
  • Experience serving as a Control Account Manager (CAM).
  • Experience maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Experience working in a defense, aerospace, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
  • SAP experience.
  • Knowledge of DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement).
  • Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders., * Engineering Project Management: 3 years (Required)
