Job description

  • Perform a range of environmental compliance-related activities and functions including emission testing on industrial engines, emission calculations, regulatory analysis, and reporting, along with environmental compliance evaluations.
  • Assist in the execution of air permitting/compliance projects.
  • Learn and execute SOP's for processing a FTIR source testing, reporting of the emissions' analysis, and understand operation of equipment.
  • Gain an understanding of ASTM methodology in relation to EPA and State mandated protocols.
  • Perform additional project duties such as scheduling and prioritize of daily work schedule or weekly basis.
  • Capable of working remotely or independently with general guidance provided in more complex or unusual situations.
  • Ability to interact with clients to build rapport and to provide the deliverables that meet the client's needs.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Petrochemical and natural gas compressors?, * Excellent communication skills in a team setting.

  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn.
  • Experience understanding and executing various ASTM methods for emissions sampling.
  • Ability to manage with shifting priorities and follow through on action items with limited supervision.
  • Experience in performing air emissions calculations and preparing reports in a professional and timely manner.
  • Demonstrate mechanical experience for engine tuning, performance, and diagnostics.
  • Demonstrate electrical experience for engine accessories such as AFR controllers and sensors.
  • Understanding of air quality and safety regulations applicable to oil & gas operations.
  • Strong organizational, oral/written communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interact with government regulators regarding permitting and compliance issues.
  • Proficiency with Online and PC-based applications such as Microsoft Office products including but not limited to Word, Excel, Access database applications., * High School or higher education preferred with experience in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, and/or Environmental Science.
  • 3-5 + years of experience in the oil & gas industry.
  • Experience with midstream oil & gas facilities such as natural gas compression processes.
  • Operation of emission testing equipment for field production equipment.
  • Ability to travel up to 3 to 4 days per week as needed to meet business needs.
  • Potential overnight stays for multiple nights for remote locations.
  • Sufficient professional experience to demonstrate being fully trained and competent.
