Job description
Support the development, testing, maintenance, and optimization of operational flight software and engineering models for B-1B and B-52 platforms. Collaborate with engineering teams to translate requirements, support system integration efforts, and ensure software reliability throughout the development lifecycle., * Design software systems and subsystem engineering models utilizing JIRA throughout the end-to-end lifecycle

Develop, test, maintain, enhance, and optimize software systems and subsystem components

Review customer requirements and technical specifications for stakeholder use

Analyze technical requirements and translate them into software solutions

Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy operational flight software

Monitor and test system performance and functionality

Support system integration activities across software and subsystem components

Debug software issues and resolve identified defects

Verify software reliability, efficiency, and compliance with customer, industry, and safety standards

Serve as a technical resource for software systems and subsystem engineering activities

Physical Requirements & Environment

Work onsite at Tinker AFB

Support up to 10% overtime as required
Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry from an accredited course of study

9+ years of work-related experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

Ability to code in C and/or ADA

Hands-on experience JIRA
-
Possess the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Preferred Skills

Demonstrate embedded software design experience
